Having worked in Fashion Design for many years, I transferred into oil painting over 25 years ago. The love of color and the history of oils fed my soul and has become a ritual of observation and experimentation fulfilling my creative side. After many years of national juried shows and work in private and European collections, I have found a style of loose, washy oils which relates to my first love of working in watercolor. Mixing transparent areas with opaque and venturing into the abstract, even if painting a representional work, remains a focus.
