Paper collage and oil on cradled panel

6 x 12

The Sno-White Laundry Company caught my attention during one of my first visits to Old Colorado City in Colorado Springs.  I loved the retro-lettering and, of course, all that comes to my storytelling mind with the term "Sno-White."  I used the collage background to create fun, punny connections between this little known laundry company and all that its name brings to my mind.

Finished with an oil-based, archival retouch varnish with collage materials wrapped around the edges.
