Day 10 – ‘Sun Kissed Poppies’

Today’s painting was inspired by my morning walk through Hulett. I loved watching my neighbor’s poppy pods open and bright red flowers emerge. They were brilliant in the morning sunlight.

We had a huge family issue circulating on FaceBook today. My Aunt’s Vitantonio Pizzelle iron that my grandmother gave her 50 years ago is no longer in production. This is a serious situation! This time of year, pizzelles are a major staple to have on our tables. If anyone knows where my aunt may be able to find a new or vintage Vitantonio Pizzelle iron, please reply to this email.
