Oil on Newspaper Covered Board
When I was in high school, a friend of mine was a runner. I remember thinking how intrigued I was that someone could run for miles at a time. Shortly after, I decided to give it a try, and soon, I myself was a runner. I would get home from school and run over to the zoo and back.
Over the years, my running has ebbed and flowed, but even today, I continue a running practice. It's a source of power and peace for me.
When I stepped outside this particular morning, the sunrise stopped me in my tracks.
