ABOUT THE WORK
Last year I was lucky to receive a Christmas gift of 14 types of home-baked cookies from a friend (who traditionally sets off baking the untold numbers of goodies each December), lovingly packed in the red-and-white-striped jar. As the number of cookies diminished, the jar went through a series of still life studies, thanks to its bold pattern and color.
Cradled wood board, 0.75" deep. Unframed. Gallery-style painted sides. Wired and ready to hang.
