Still Life with Peony and Pansy
Acrylic painting, collage, inks.
ABOUT THE WORK
Every year I wait for the peonies to flower in my small garden. When then arrive, it's time to play. I spend a week or so making new arrangements, photographing the flowers in all stages of their bloom into decay. All the while, their scent fills the house, confirming that the summer is almost here.
Cradled wood board, 0.75" deep. Unframed. Gallery-style painted sides. Wired and ready to hang.
