DESCRIPTION

Put in a coin and pick out a song. Great fun! I remember jukeboxes being a staple in bars and diners. "Jukebox Saturday Night" was written by Al Stillman and Paul McGrane. It was recorded by Glenn Miller in 1942. An except of the lyrics is below. The active mark making in this painting suggests a rocking' good time. It has a contemporary thin, white floater frame that brings the dimensions to 12 3/8" x 12 3/8" x 1 1/2" deep.

Mopping up soda pop rickeys
To our heart's delight
Dancing to swingeroo quickies
Jukebox Saturday night
