ABOUT THE WORK
This painting depicts a tree frog on a leaf. I've seen lots of these frogs hanging around outdoor lights at homes in Florida. The lights attract insects, so when it gets dark, the frogs just sit and wait for some unsuspecting insects to come along and make a quick meal out of the opportunity.
