Digging with Grandpa

ABOUT THE WORK

I take A LOT of pictures when I visit the beach, some are paint worthy and some are not. You never really know until you scroll through the images. But I had a feeling that I would eventually paint this pair on the beach. I imagined the conversation these two were having, busily digging into the sand. I'm sure the little boy had some big plans for his efforts and I'm quite sure that his grandpa was just having a good time!
