ABOUT THE WORK

There is a certain elegance and grace to the large birds like herons and egrets. I find something quite striking about an all white bird over 3 feet tall. This egret painting is one of the two I've painted of these large marsh birds. The second is a Great Blue Heron and will be released in a few days.
