This piece began with two collage pieces I was determined to combine...an old record sleeve and a guitar lesson booklet. It seemed quite "natural" to have these piece infused beneath a field of flowers of an rural landscape. I can hear the music in the air....
8" x 8" Paper collage and oil on cradled panel. Coated with an archival, matte varnish. Collage materials wrapped around the edges to create a finished look that doesn't require framing. Wired and ready to hang. Is also stable enough to sit independently on a mantle or table.
This piece comes ready to put under the tree.
