ABOUT THE WORK
I started a series of yellow fields and sunflowers during the lockdown in March. Sunflowers are hopeful and I needed a little joy. Inspired by a field in France, this is actually a sunflower field but the yellow just overwhelmed me so left out that detail. Pastel on panel; behind glass with 2” antique gold frame
